We recognise that social media influencers have created an ‘Instagram generation’, fuelled by likes and follows. This gratification has created a market that rewards originality and the next big trend, often snowballing brands to global fame. These trends extend beyond the traditional fashion of clothing, and has spilled into dining and lifestyle, including homes and interiors. In addition to fashion trends, environmental awareness has also proven to be a major factor in influencing consumer choice, with ethical sourcing remaining at the forefront of this. We have seen examples of this in the fast food market as a result of BBC’s Blue Planet, the Palm Oil protests globally, as well as a growing vegan population based on ethics. We are focussed to track, drive and influence these markets within beds and bedroom interior design, helping us to maintain a sustainable competitive advantage. This ranges from aesthetically pleasing and luxurious looks through to the use of cutting-edge technology, and researching dynamic manufacturing processes. We also look to reduce our environmental impact through ethical sourcing of new materials and fabrics. Spring Craft is dedicated to the reduction of our carbon footprint through effective waste management and fuel and energy use, whilst promoting this as a unique selling point, bringing our brand to the forefront of the environmental, manufacturing and furniture fashion markets.

Operating in the United Kingdom, Spring Craft utilises two sites, each specialising in separate arms of the business that work towards a common goal within the bed manufacturing industry.
Founded in 2012, Spring Craft Limited began as one of a handful of UK-based spring producers, specialising in cutting edge pocket-sprung and traditional Bonnell spring units. Traditionally, firms within the UK have had to outsource from International producers, requiring mass quantities as minimum orders. Prices would often be dictated by these companies, with long lead times and demand often outweighing supply within the local industry. This gap in the market paved way to our unique spring manufacturing business. Heavy investment into innovative machinery, and specialist operators has allowed us to create custom springs on request.

Keeping our ears close to the ground, we quickly identified many other needs within the bed industry, ranging from headboards to bedsteads. Spring Craft then delved into the upholstery bedroom furniture market, informed by consumer demand and innovative, luxury designs.
With our operations based in the same country as our target market, we are sensitive to political, economic, social and technological shifts, and their resulting effects on the cultural attitudes towards the bed market. This allows us to act swiftly and become proactive when producing new products. Spring Craft has always dedicated itself to be a socially responsible company, investing in new ways to reduce our fuel and carbon usage, using responsibly sourced materials that adhere to the strictest guidelines of safety as a minimum requirement, including the use of fire-retardant materials and dermatologically tested fabrics.
Spring Craft is continually evolving. As we are still within our infancy, we are looking for new markets to penetrate through being proactive, and through segmentation of the existing markets we operate in, continually innovating and crafting dreams into reality.
